Our values underpin everything we do from how we work with customers and each other on a day to day basis, to how we make long term strategic decisions. The whole team plays a big part in the success of Christian Action. We believe in investing in our staff to achieve the best possible outcomes. We offer our staff flexible working, regular surveys to get feedback from our staff, shadowing to experience working in other areas and much more.

Aniekan Umoren - Chief Executive

Aniekan Umoren is our Chief Executive reporting to the Association’s Board of Management, which is led by our Chair Aaron John. Aniekan is responsible for ensuring that the organisation delivers the overall plans and strategic direction agreed with the Board. She is accountable for the quality of service provided to our customers and giving the staff effective leadership to ensure effective performance across all parts of the Association.

Aniekan ensures that the Board is empowered to control the affairs of the Association by providing the relevant, accurate information and maintaining good governance. She is also is responsible for developing an effective strategy and resources  to secure additional services and homes to meet housing needs in the local area we serve. Aniekan works with the Board to ensure the work of the Association meets its objectives as a registered housing association and charity.

Izzet Dizdar - Director of Finance and IT

Izzet joined Christian Action as Interim Director of Finance & IT in February 2024 and joined us permanently from July 2024. He oversees the Finance, IT and risk management functions of the Christian Action Group. Izzet is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant with executive, NED, leadership and stakeholder management experience.  Izzet trained in internal audit and compliance before joining social housing over 24 years ago.  Izzet has worked in several medium sized associations as well as in M&G Investments UK Social Housing team and S&P Global Ratings Sovereign/International Public Finance team.

Andrew Jacques - Director of Assets

Andrew Jacques Headshot

Andrew joined Christian Action as our Director of Assets in December 2025.  His primary responsibility is to ensure that our residents live in a safe, well-maintained and energy-efficient home.  He leads a team that provides repair, maintenance, and safety compliance services to residents’ homes, as well as delivering planned property improvements and decarbonisation initiatives.  His role also encompasses procurement, contract and cost management, and the development of asset management strategies and sustainable investment programmes that continually improve homes, deliver social value, and make the best use of resources.  Andrew is committed to working in partnership with residents, listening to their experiences and using their feedback to deliver services that respond to their individual needs and enhance their daily lives.

Chris Shemelides - Head of Business Support

Chris is responsible for providing strategic advice to the Senior Management Team & Board on procurement, compliance and GDPR and manage the internal audit process. Maintain and produce KPI reports to allow for the proper management of performance. Supporting the organisation by developing and maintaining information systems and processes including supporting users.

Matthew Nicol - Head of Finance

Matthew is our Head of Finance who sets the Association's budgets and forecasts which aid in strategic decision making to add value to the Association. Ensuring effective monetary controls through real and active partnerships with management and budget holders. Matthew also provides real time support and analysis ensuring the company is achieving value for money.

John Milosovici - Head of IT

John leads on the Association’s IT strategy including communications technology and managing the day-to-day IT operations, taking responsibility for IT services, project delivery and driving innovation and change.

Jessica Brett - Head of Housing and Community Services

Jess ensures the excellent delivery of our customer orientated Housing Management and Supported services. Her team is here for you, the community, to develop and identify local partnerships to create safe, affordable, and sustainable environments where people are proud to live in. The team are dedicated to implementing CAHA mission and values and providing support to anyone who needs it.
