A future we can believe in

We believe that our mission and vision for the work we do remains relevant and accurate. These are expressed below.

Our Mission is:
Our ambition is to be a recognised and valued member of the communities we serve. We are asking our people, when will we know we
have achieved our ambition. In defining our passion for people, we are focused on asking what is a community-based housing association. We believe the starting point is NOT only about what we do, it is about the WAY we do it as well. That is why our Vision, Mission and Values are the bedrock of our strategic plan. Our people ARE our community. Understanding our residents and what they need from us, will enable us to be an essential part of the community.

Our Vision is:

To be a strong, independent social business that meets local needs by identifying local solutions and affordable local services.

We achieve our vision by being:

A housing association motivated by Christian and social concern that:

  • Creates places where people want to live
  • Invests in good quality housing
  • Provides support and services that are affordable and accessible to those in housing need

Building our Community Services:
We must know who our people are and understand their needs, as they define and support us in meeting their priorities. This is
where we will see the evidence of the impact of being a community based housing association. It is the framework which holds
and brings together all the above.

Our three-year strategic plan

Cover page of strategic plan 2026 - 31

Our five-year plan sets out our ambition and strategic direction as an independent community-based housing association driven by our values and social purpose. Structured around five core themes that reflect our priorities as a housing association. Each theme is supported by defined lines of focus and a series of deliverable actions designed to drive measurable progress.

Most importantly, we have engaged with our residents and listened to understand their priorities to ensure those are reflected in what we prioritise.

Our five strategic targets:

  • Service that makes a difference
  • Stronger communities together
  • Growing with purpose
  • Empowered to deliver
  • Strong foundations
