Enfield Foyer Residents Take on Rise and Climb Challenge

On 1 May 2026, residents from Enfield Foyer took part in a Rise and Climb activity as part of the service's mindfulness and wellbeing programme.

The activity showed that keeping fit and active does not always have to involve traditional sports or gym-based exercise. Residents challenged themselves by scaling a variety of climbing walls and obstacles, with each stage becoming progressively more difficult.

With guidance from experienced instructors’ residents pushed themselves outside their comfort zones. Some overcame a fear of heights, while others embraced the challenge of trying something completely new.

Activities like this form part of our wider commitment to supporting young people's wellbeing, confidence and personal development, helping residents build resilience, try new experiences and develop skills that support them both now and in the future.
