Councillor Sabri Ozaydin visits CAHA services

Councillor Sabri Ozaydin meets CAHA residents

Last week, Councillor Sabri Ozaydin visited two CAHA services and spent time meeting residents.

The first stop was Enfield Foyer, where young residents gave a tour of the building, including the gym, music room and garden. They spoke about how the support they receive at the Foyer is helping them build confidence and develop skills for the future.

Councillor Ozaydin was particularly interested to hear from one young person who hopes to work in the fashion industry. He shared his own experience of working in clothing manufacturing over many years and encouraged them to continue pursuing their ambitions.

The visit then continued to Paul Court, where residents raised local issues and asked questions about matters affecting the community, including the new leisure centre.

Our Chief Executive Aniekan spoke about the importance of working with our partners at the local authority.

As a community-based housing organisation, we see firsthand how important locally accessible services are to the lives of our residents. The need is increasing every year, and we must show our partners that we are ready, on the ground delivering services that make a real difference to our tenants and residents.”

We were pleased to welcome Councillor Ozaydin and value the opportunity to strengthen local partnerships that support residents and communities.
