Teresa House is an assessment Centre for young people aged 16-17 ½ who have been made homeless and are in need of housing in the borough of Enfield.  The project can accommodate 13 young people for a maximum stay of 6 months.  An emergency crash pad is available to accommodate one young person who is at immediate risk of homelessness.  The maximum stay is 2 weeks.  Each young person has their own bedroom in 2 or 3 bedroom flats. Communal kitchen, lounge and bathrooms are shared.  All flats have access to free Wi-Fi.  There is also a communal lounge with pool table and TV where young people can come together and chill out.   There is an IT/learning suite and laundry facility.   Staff are on-site from 8am to 8pm to offer ongoing support.  Security staff covers 8pm to 8am.

Teresa House works in partnership with other agencies to achieve the best outcome for our clients.    Whilst at the project the young person’s housing and support needs are continually assessed to enable them to move onto appropriate accommodation.   The client’s views are central in developing their own support plan to enable them to sustain and achieve their full potential.
