What if something happens and there are no support workers on duty?

We have an out of hours on call system

The purpose of On-Call

The On Call system is for all clients who are supported by our Supported Housing Service. Clients will be able to contact the security concierge in staffed properties and report any issues or concerns they may have. In our dispersed properties where we do not have staff on site, clients are able to call the on-call out of hour’s emergency number and will be able to speak to the on call manager.

The On Call system is not a counselling service or response to non-emergencies. The responsibility of the person On Call will be to provide advice and support to the client, including sign posting to the most appropriate services.

Please note: Only contact the named person(s) on the displayed rota for that week or contact any Christian Action Housing services (contact details listed below) and speak to the security concierge on duty.

On Call will be allocated to staff on a weekly rota system. On call operates from 8pm – 9am. The week starts and ends at 9am on Mondays.

Weekly rota of the on call staff will be displayed in each disperse service daily
