All About DTH
Deborah Tempest House (DTH) provides 14 units of shared accommodation with 2 and 3 bed flats. Clients have exclusive use of one room and share kitchen, bathroom and other facilities. Applicants should be aged 16-24 years old and have a local connection to the London Borough of Enfield.
As a Supported Housing provider, we require clients to engage in the support planning process, Employment Education & Training (EET) activities which will enable them to acquire the skills needed to live independently. For more details about EET click here.
All applications are assessed against the services eligibility criteria, which includes need and risk assessments. This service is able to support clients who have been assessed as having medium-high support needs. (The Terms” MEDIUM “ and “ HIGH” are used in the context of supported housing and may not compare to other fields of operation including probation and mental health services).
DTH offers the following services:
- Dedicated support staff team
- Accommodation & Support service up to 2 years.
- In house Training Kitchen Facility
- Therapeutic Support (linked with Specialist external agencies)
- Fully equipped IT facilities and Wi-Fi connection
- Fully furnished room with starter packs
- Fully Furnished common room space for clients to socialise and entertain
Our referral agencies and methods of referral include: London Borough of Enfield departments such as Youth Offending Service, Access to Resources Team (ART); Probation service; Housing and the Leaving Care Team; Housing Options and advice (John Wilkes House), Family and Accommodation Support Team (FAST), Alone in London and Direct Referrals to the service.
‘Whilst we do not provide move on accommodation, we will support young people to access appropriate move –on accommodation through private rented or other rent deposit housing schemes.’
