You are responsible for decorating inside your home and keeping it to a reasonable standard throughout the duration of your tenancy. You are expected to redecorate your home, as regularly as necessary and at your own expense. If you are a new tenant moving into an older property, some tenants are offered a decoration allowance when they first move in and you will be advised of this at your viewing/tenancy sign up. Please ensure that you use the decoration allowance to decorate your home and not for any other purpose.
Outside Your Home
Christian Action repaints the outside of your home every few years. We will tell you beforehand if we are due to carry out repainting works. We may need you to give access to parts of your home, such as the back garden. We often need to erect scaffolding in order to carry out the works safely. You should ensure that you take extra safety and security precautions during this time.
