The Young People First (YPF) Accommodation Service

The Young People First Accommodation Service supports clients in the London Boroughs of Haringey and Enfield.

Haringey - The service has 22 shared bed spaces in flats and houses across the borough. Clients have exclusive use of one room and share kitchen, bathroom and other facilities. Accommodation types range from a 2 bed flat, to a 5 bed house. Applicants should be aged 18-49 years and have a local connection to Haringey.

Enfield - The service has 32 shared bed spaces in flats and houses across the borough. Clients have exclusive use of one room and share kitchen, bathroom and other facilities. Accommodation types range from a 2 bed flat, to a 7 bed house. Applicants should be aged 18-30 years and have a local connection to Enfield.

As a Supported Housing provider, we require clients to engage in the support planning process which will enable them to acquire the skills needed to live independently. All applications are assessed against the services eligibility criteria, which includes need and risk assessments. This service is able to support clients who have been assessed as having low support needs.

Our referral agencies include: Two E Advice & Information Service; London Borough of Enfield departments such as Youth Offending Service, Housing & the Leaving Care Team; Connexions and other voluntary agencies within the borough of Enfield. All referral for our properties in Haringey are received from the Councils Vulnerable Adults Team who are based at Apex House.
