In certain circumstances you may be eligible for compensation if we fail to carry out an emergency or urgent repair within our target time. These circumstances are as follows:
1. The repair will not cost more than £250.
2.You have reported the repair to us and been available to give access to our contractors but the repair has not been done within our published timescale (24 hours for an emergency, 5 working days for an urgent repair)
3.You should report that the repair has not been done and request that we re-order the work, if necessary with a different contractor.
4. If we fail for a second time to complete the work within the relevant timescale (from the time of the second order), you are entitled to request compensation.
5.Compensation will be calculated as follows: a payment of £10 plus £2 for every day the repair remains uncompleted up to a maximum of £50 from the end of the second period that we have failed to complete the repair.
