As a support provider, we require clients to engage in the support planning process which will enable them to develop existing skills needed to live independently and sustain their tenancies with their landlord. All applications are assessed against the services eligibility criteria, which includes need and risk assessments. This service is able to support clients who have been assessed as having low - medium support needs.
One of the most successful services operated by Christian Action has been the Enfield Temporary Accommodation Play Project, which provides vital play facilities and development opportunities for children who do not have permanent housing. In addition, it provides advice to parents and, where appropriate, training in English as a second language. This service operates in Enfield and is funded by a number of charitable trusts and the Big Lottery Fund.
