Mark Hayes is Chief Executive. Reporting to the Association’s Board of Management, Mark is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the Association, and for its effective performance.
He ensures that the Board is empowered to control the affairs of the Association and is responsible for developing an effective strategy to meet housing needs. This includes ensuring the work of the Association meets its objectives, and that resources and staff are used effectively
John is the Finance Director and the Association's Company Secretary.
John is responsible for developing the Association’s financial and business management strategic plans, ensuring they are effectively implemented and evaluated. He is also responsible for the accounting of all the Association’s income and expenditure, assets and liabilities.
As Company Secretary John ensures that all statutory returns are submitted to the various regulatory bodies and agencies and that records are properly maintained and comply with statutory changes or proposals which may impact on the governance or constitution of the Association.
Ian Martin -Director of Housing and Neighbourhood Services
Ian is the Director of Housing & Neighbourhood Services and is the Association’s lead officer for Equality and Diversity and Customer Care.
The Housing & Neighbourhood Services Department includes the Housing Services Team who provide housing and services to general needs tenants; our Supported and Retirement Housing Services who provide accommodation and services for young people, older people, people with disabilities and survivors of domestic violence; and our Neighbourhood Services which includes services such as a play project for people who are homeless and living in temporary accommodation, supporting youth facilities and a community hall.
Ian also manages the Association’s Social Enterprise which provides employment opportunities for local young people and delivers some of the Association’s cleaning and grounds maintenance services.
Emma is the Property Services Director and is the Association’s Health & Safety Officer.
The Property Services Department includes the Development Team who are currently working with consultants and contractors to provide new homes for general needs, supported and retirement housing tenants as well as our Young People First project as well as managing our Temporary Social Housing programme which provides temporary accommodation through leasing from landlords in the private sector.
Our Asset Management Team manage the annual planned and cyclical maintenance programmes as well as providing adaptations to suit residents’ specific needs, and they also maintain service installation contracts such as lifts, entry-phones, fire alarms and other services; our Responsive Repairs Team manage the day- to-day repairs service, the voids management service and gas servicing contracts with our term contractors.
Maggie has responsibility in many areas, including the management of our Head Office, Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive; and day to day personnel management functions. She also provides support to our Board of Management, as well as working closely with the Development Department in arranging for the disposal or purchasing of the Association’s housing stock.
As Head of Corporate Services, Maggie is responsible for the provision of full secretarial support for the whole of the organisation, as well as professional reception functions and customer support facilities for all of our tenants/customers.
Penny’s role is to ensure that the Association’s strategy relating to housing management is implemented in the daily delivery of services to a high standard in line with our statutory obligations. Penny also ensures that the day to day management of the housing service team is carried out effectively and efficiently.
Sarah is the Head of Supported Housing for CAHA. She is responsible for the provision of accommodation based and floating support services to a range of client groups. These include young people at risk, single homeless, people with learning difficulties and survivors of domestic violence. In addition, her work also involves maintaining the Association’s relationships with its managing agents.
The services are provided across three boroughs of operation, these being Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. Together with her team, Sarah is also developing a range of activities to support employment opportunities and well-being amongst young people.
Patricia Johnson is the Head of Retirement Housing for CAHA. She is responsible for the provision of housing and services to older tenants.
The Retirement housing service provides homes for older people across the boroughs of Haringey, Barnet, Enfield and Waltham Forest. Together with her team Patricia ensures the delivery of a quality service that responds to customer and organisational needs.
Chris Wilkins -Head of Asset Management
Chris as Head of Asset Management is responsible for the implementation of the Association’s property maintenance strategy and ensuring that the Association’s stock improvement programme is effectively and cost effectively managed and maintained to a high standard.
Maria is the Property Repairs Manager and manages the direction & co-ordination of the Property Services Maintenance section on a day to day basis to ensure that the repairs delivery objectives are effectively carried out to our residents.
Maria also manages the voids process bringing properties up a re-lettable standard within budget and time and gas servicing.
Nic Grayston - Head of Development Services
Nic's role as Head of the Development Team is to be responsible for the delivery of the Association's affordable housing programme by working with professional consultants and contractors to provide new homes for general needs, supported and retirement housing tenants. Additionally he manages our Temporary Social Housing programme, working with our Housing Management and Technical teams, to provide temporary accommodation through leasing from landlords in the private sector.
Henry is the Finance Services Manager and together with the Finance Director is responsible for the preparation of the Annual Budget and Year End Finance Reports as well as the provision of financial reports to the Audit Commission, preparation of monthly management accounts, and for ensuring that all financial controls and procedures are effectively adhered to.
