Retirement Celebrating Summer 2018

At our Retirement schemes there is always some event taking place and with this lovely weather we have had, our residents have really been getting out and enjoying the lovely sunshine.

On Friday 29th June the residents had lunch in Matthew Court garden, Christian Action kindly donated £50.00  to buy food. The residents enjoyed good food and company on a lovely sunny day.

On 17th July 47 Residents from across our Retirement Housing Services, enjoyed a day trip to Brighton. The weather was very sunny and hot and the residents enjoyed the day taking a stroll along Brighton pier and listened to live music.  They stopped for a fish & chip lunch and drinks and some residents went on the beach and had a little paddle before leaving.  Another enjoyable day.

Mad Hatters Tea Party  (hence the hats)

The residents had a lovely time enjoying an afternoon tea in the gardens at Rosecroft which was kindly paid for by Christian Action.  As the event was so enjoyable most of the residents decided to stay in the garden until quite late into the evening...or should we say very early morning.
